THIRD LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST CUMBERLAND COUNTY JAIL

Three lawsuits have been filed in connection with separate hanging deaths at the Cumberland County Jail.  The third was filed in behalf of the family of David Hennis, who hung himself in the jail nearly one year ago.  Cumberland County, Jail Warden Robert Balicki, and corrections officers were named in the lawsuit.

Durand Glass will be adding about 100 new jobs at their plant on Wade Boulevard in Millville. Company officials say the expanded work force is needed because of new changes, new machines and processes.
