CAPE MAY COUNCIL MEETS TUESDAY, DELINQUENT TAX INTEREST TO BE SET

Cape May’s city council will meet Tuesday evening and is expected to consider a resolution that will set a rate of six percent interest on delinquent taxes and municipal charges.  An ordinance may also be approved that would change certain design standards in the city.  The meeting begins at 5:30pm.

Cape May officials discussed some concepts for a new public safety building before the weekend.  City officials met with architect Robbie Conley who presented some concepts for buildings that would house the police and fire departments in the city.  Plans will be formally presented during the November 21st Council meeting.
