Gasoline prices in Cape May County are 14 cents higher than the average across New Jersey. Our gas prices are now $2.35 per gallon, which is also 21 cents per gallon higher than the national average. The Cape had the highest prices of any region represented by Mid Atlantic AAA.

Cape May County held a Regional Urban Search and Rescue exercise on Monday. The RUST, as it is more commonly known, was a final evaluation for students as part of their training. County freeholders attended the event to learn more about the exercises.
