Fewer than 1,000 customers of Atlantic City Electric have lost power Monday afternoon due to strong winds. As of lunchtime Monday, there were 831 customers of the utility without power, and only a handful in Cape May County. Other electric utilities in New Jersey are reporting more significant outages.

17 new cases of coronavirus were reported Sunday in Cape May County. Lower and Upper townships each had five new cases, while Middle Township had four. Only Avalon, Cape May Point, West Cape May, and Woodbine have zero community cases. More than 1,200 people are off quarantine in the Cape during the pandemic.
Cape May County reported 35 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday. All but one of the cases were in the community. Ocean City and Lower Township each had 11 new cases. Only West Cape May, Cape May Point, Stone Harbor, and Avalon have one or zero cases of the virus.
Most communities in Cape May County will be holding trick or treating tomorrow. The times vary by community, but most candy collection will be held between the hours of 5:00-8:00pm. Many individual trunk or treat celebrations in municipalities have been cancelled due to the pandemic.
Cape May County reported 15 additional residential cases of coronavirus on Thursday. Lower, Middle, and Upper townships, along with Ocean City, all have over 20 cases apiece. There were no additional cases reported in long term care facilities.
