Cape May County health officials reported 29 new cases of the coronavirus on Sunday. Lower and Middle townships account for nearly half of all of the cases in the County, with 75 resident cases apiece. The rate of transmission in Cape May County remains below one, which shows the spread of the virus is decreasing.

The Cape May County Zoo’s female snow leopard has died. County officials announced Sunday that Himani was peacefully euthanized following a battle with cancer. Himani was born in 2003 and came to the County Zoo six years later from the Knoxville Zoo. She had four litter of cubs.
February 22nd. That’s the date the Cape May County Library system will open its doors to patrons again. The Library announced that buildings will be limited to 35 percent of their capacity per gubernatorial executive order. Patrons will have 30 minutes to browse shelves, and up to one hour for computer use.
