A 60 year old woman lost her life in Hammonton Saturday night when she tried to cross the South White Horse Pike on foot. Police say a pickup truck driven by a Margate man struck the woman, and killed her. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
A 67 year old surfer from Margate lost his life over the weekend after being pulled from the surf unconscious. Authorities say Edgar Osborne died after surfing at an unguarded beach. The cause of death for Osborne is unknown.

A mask mandate begins Monday at Stockton University. University officials announced on their website that all individuals using common indoor areas will be required to mask up, regardless of vaccination status. Classroom instruction begins on September 7th, and all students and instructors will be required to wear masks.

Spirit Airlines today announced new air service between Atlantic City and Miami, Cancun, or San Juan. The airline announced these flights will all be non-stop with no layover. All of these new flights will begin at various times in October.
