A fire took at the intersection of Tilton and Locust in Northfield. The Northfield Volunteer Fire Company #1 reports that crews on the scene were able to keep the blaze from spreading. Crews from Linwood, Somers Point, and Pleasantville assisted on site. No injuries were reported by authorities on scene.
The Revel Casino was sold for only 3 percent of its initial building price. Glenn Straub officially owns the casino for $82 million. It was initially built for $2.4 billion.
