ATLANTIC CITY VOTED SECOND MOST UNFRIENDLY CITY IN WORLD

It doesn’t get much more unfriendly than Atlantic City, if you believe a new poll. Travel+Leisure did a survey of over 200,000 people and Atlantic City was voted the second more unfriendly city in the world. Only Moscow did worse among 266 cities. New York City came in 6th and Philadelphia was ranked 7th.

GAS LEAK PUSHES RESIDENTS OUT OF HOMES IN HAMILTON TOWNSHIP

Evacuations were called for on Tuesday when a gas leak pushed residents out of their home. A large gas leak took place in the area of Route 40 & Babcock Rd. Mandatory evacuations happened as a result in the Mays Landing Village development. There was no report of injuries as a result of the leak.

HAMMONTON AIRPORT TO GET $150K IN REPAIRS

4,000 BAGS OF HEROIN SEIZED IN ARREST

Eight people were arrested in a major drug bust in Atlantic County. The Prosecutor’s Office there says heroin, currency, vehicles, prescription pills and Fentanyl were all seized. ATLANTIC COUNTY HAS EIGHT LOCALS BUSTED FOR DRUGS

Eight individuals from Atlantic County have been arrested and charged with various drug offenses. Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain says a two month investigation led to the seizure of a large amount of heroin, three vehicles, and various prescription pills.
