Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian was involved in a minor pedestrian-motor vehicle accident over the weekend. Police say a seven year old girl ran onto Route 30 and struck the car that was being driven by Guardian. The girl suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. ##

Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano says Atlantic City is to blame for no beach concerts being announced so far this summer. Troiano told the Wildwood Leader that Wildwood will be announcing some beach concerts “any day now” and he’s hoping for three beach concerts this year. ##

Atlantic City officials will hold a ribbon cutting event Thursday morning on a brand new section of the boardwalk. The boardwalk has been reconstructed from Rhode Island Avenue to Oriental Avenue. The city received a $5 million grant to help do the work. ##
