Police have arrested one man connected to a shooting in Atlantic City over the weekend. Police say Stephen Jacobs of Atlantic City shot a 46 year old man early Sunday morning on Hummock Avenue. There was a second shooting in the city during last weekend; no suspects have yet been charged. ##
The United States Coast Guard helped to dewater and tow a boat that had taken on water near Atlantic City on Sunday. Six people were on the 17-foot recreational boat that was in the intracoastal waterways north of Atlantic City. The boat was towed to Great Bay Marina. ##
A 27 year old Atlantic City man faces up to 20 years in prison after copping a plea deal in connection with a homicide case. Omar Curry pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in connection with the killing of 32 year old Nelson Rivera back in 2014. ##

A private equity firm has made a $220 million offer to buy the former Revel Casino in Atlantic City from Glenn Straub. Straub told the Press of Atlantic City that he was unaware any offer was made to buy his property and denies talking with any private equity firms about a proposed deal. ##
An Atlantic City man was shot to death in the city Tuesday night, and police are still searching for suspects. Police say 28 year old Anthony S. McCrae was shot multiple times Tuesday night on Lincoln Avenue. The investigation continues. ##
It’s 12 years in prison for Anthony Martin of Atlantic City who dealt large amounts of cocaine and heroin in the South Jersey area. Martin received the long prison sentence on Friday after pleading guilty to a first degree drug charge. Martin was busted in Atlantic City in December, 2015. ##
The Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City is about to become part of the Tropicana family. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Tropicana will purchase the Chelsea Hotel and connect both properties via a skyway bridge. ##
