A 34 year old police officer who works in Jersey City was arrested on charges that he travelled to Atlantic City to have sex with two underage girls. Stephen Wilson of Bayonne was charged on Friday with three separate crimes. Wilson remains lodged in the Atlantic County Jail pending his detention hearing.

Atlantic City Police say a woman threatened to kill a retail store clerk with a knife on Tuesday. Police arrested 28 year old Octavia Watson on charges she threatened to kill the clerk at Ocean Body Oil on Atlantic Avenue. Watson was disarmed after being talked down by police.
Former Atlantic City mayor Frank Gilliam will spend 30 days in prison for stealing money from a youth sports program. Gilliam previously admitted to the offense. He will also have to serve three years’ probation and perform community service.
The day of reckoning has arrived for former Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam Jr. Gilliam will be sentenced today on charges that he stole money from a youth basketball organization. He pleaded guilty to the charge in October, 2019 and resigned as mayor the same day.
