There’s a new man serving as the overseer of the municipal government in Atlantic City. Robert Long has replaced Timothy Cunningham in the position. Long is the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs. Cunningham will return to work in a private law firm.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that there were more than 70 code violations inside the building, and only five have been corrected. Anyone staying at the hotel was given 48 hours to leave.
