The Tropicana Casino property in Atlantic City is under new ownership. A deal that transferred the property from Carl Ichan to Eldorado Resorts was completed earlier this week. Approvals of the casino license are still pending from the Casino Control Commission.
Hard Rock Atlantic City has replaced its president after three months of operation. Matt Harkness is out, and former Borgata executive Joe Lupo has replaced him. No reason was given for the change. The Hard Rock placed fourth in casino revenues in Atlantic City during August.

Atlantic City Police continue to investigate a shooting that occurred early Friday morning. Police say one man was shot and suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident, which took place at Arctic and California avenues. So far, no suspects are in custody.
