Three people were shot in Atlantic City Monday night. City police say the three victims were all shot near the 1200 block of Drexel Avenue. All of the victims survived; the suspect remains at large.
Atlantic City Police have announced the arrests of five adults on drug charges after they broke up a drug distribution operation on Wednesday. Police set up the bust with a staged drug deal with 20 year old Omar Law of Atlantic City. All of those arrested were released on a summons pending a court date.

A 24 year old man set himself on fire, then walked into a convenience store in Atlantic City early Saturday morning. Police say it happened at a Gulf station on Atlantic Avenue. The victim is from Somers Point and suffering from life threatening injuries. A worker at the gas station helped put out the fire.

Governor Phil Murphy will be in Atlantic City this morning. Murphy is expected to take part in a groundbreaking event for a supermarket to be built in the city. A new ShopRite grocery store will be built, and it will provide Atlantic City with its first full service supermarket in years.
Atlantic City’s gaming revenue numbers went through the roof last month. New gaming numbers show a 32 percent increase in gaming revenue by the casinos, which took in $448.7 million last month. Internet and sports gaming are boosting the casinos’ win figures each month.
45 year old Umar Abdullah was arrested in Egg Harbor City Monday, charged with the murder of a man in Atlantic City in October. Authorities say Abdullah has been on the lam since the murder of a 35 year old man back on October 10th. He is known on the streets as “O” and “Munchie”.
The largest Atlantic City casino has a new CEO. The Associated Press reports that Bill Callahan has been named the new boss at the Ocean Casino Resort which used to be the Revel. Callahan has worked at the casino and at Borgata previously.
