Authorities say 25 year old Maxwell Pepe of Atlantic City has been missing for three weeks, and social media sites have been established to help find him. Friends of the family have posted fliers throughout the resort, trying to find Pepe. Police have investigated if his disappearance is suspicious in nature.
Some old properties will be demolished in Atlantic City. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority is putting another $1 million into the demolition of dilapidated properties in the gaming resort. To date, CRDA has invested more than $6 million in building demolitions.

The United States Coast Guard rescued four boaters who ran aground near Atlantic City Monday evening. The boaters had little food and water on board, and requested assistance from the Coast Guard. All four were hoisted out of their boat by a helicopter and taken to safety.
A 36 year old man was shot to death last week in Atlantic City. Police say Bernard Murphy was found shot dead near Florida and Pacific Avenues in the city late Thursday night. Police are still hunting for the suspect.
The United States Coast Guard medevaced a man from a cruise ship about 118 miles off the coast of Atlantic City on October 17th. The Coast Guard says it received a call from the ship about a man who may have experienced a stroke. An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter was dispatched to the scene.
A 35 year old Atlantic City police officer has been charged with assault. Sterling Wheaten was arrested in late September in Margate and booked on simple assault. The accusation is that Wheaten headbutted and choked a woman.
