Atlantic City’s casinos experienced a 6.5 percent increase in gaming revenue last month compared to the same month one year ago. The Division of Gaming Enforcement announced that the big push came from internet gaming, which earned the casinos nearly $90 million in September.

A 37 year old Atlantic City man ran a stop sign and collided with a police cruiser Tuesday morning. Police say Myron Brown of Atlantic City was charged following the incident. The police car spun and hit two vehicles before coming to a rest. Officer Ryan Mullin was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A 30 year old New York man tried to climb over a divider at the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City Monday morning, and fell to his death. The man fell around 4:00am Monday at the casino when he dropped from the second level to the lobby. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Various media reports over the weekend say the union has filed a complaint against the city for not having proper procedures to prevent the exposure. Atlantic City Police have charged a 17 year old male in connection with a shooting and robbery that took place on Wednesday. Police say the teenager is from Vineland, and the shooting victim suffered a graze wound. The teen was also found to be in possession of 17 grams of pot.
