The Vineland Board of Education wants to reportedly recoup $1.6 million in overpayments provided to the local technical school district. NJ.com reports that petitions have been filed to get that money back, alleging payments that were given in two separate school years was too high.
Three people were shot in Atlantic City Monday night. City police say the three victims were all shot near the 1200 block of Drexel Avenue. All of the victims survived; the suspect remains at large.
Congressman Jeff Van Drew is asking for an investigation into the Wilmington VA Medical center following a suicide at the facility. Van Drew issued a press release today demanding an investigation that involved the suicide of a veteran from Somers Point. The man took his own life after concerns of his treatment at the facility.
