Its been a tough week in the 26th Legislative District. Former assemblywoman Carol Jackson Murphy has passed away. Just last Monday, Alex Decroce passed away while serving that district at the Statehouse. She had served as a Morris County freeholder and an assemblywoman. Murphy was 78-years-old.
An accused cop killer will have his day in court soon. Jury selection begins on Tuesday in the case involving Lakwood Patrolman Christopher Matlosz who was killed just over a year ago.
