Wind chill values are going to be in the negative values overnight Wednesday and into Thursday. The National Weather Service is calling for wind chill values at -4 on Thursday and temperatures in the 20’s. The cold weather should begin to break overnight Thursday into Friday when high temperatures will be close to 40 degrees.
Numbers were good for beach tag sales in Avalon last year. The borough says it sold $1,222,622 in tags in 2014 versus $1,191,172 in 2013. These numbers typically help tell whether a summer season was good one or not. Weekly tag sales were up about 1500 tags sold, while preseason tags increased by about 1400.
