Some key Democrats in Trenton was looking to expand a paid family leave bill in the state. The current plan gives six weeks off and pays two-thirds of the employees pay. The new proposal would increase the benefit to 12 weeks and up to 80 percent of weekly benefits.
Radioshack plans to close more stores. The company has filed for bankruptcy again and will closer 200 more stores. They have regional locations, including in Rio Grande. No list of which stores will be impacted has been released at this time. The company has about 1500 remaining stores.
