SPLIT OF NON-PUBLIC AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN SPORTS REVERSED

The state’s Education Commissioner has overturned a vote to separate public and non-public schools in football and wrestling. The vote was taken by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association. Commissioner David Hespe reversed the decision saying both decisions could negatively impact certain non-public schools.
