Cape May City Police have a common sense advisory:  The Promenade is for pedestrians, not pickup trucks.  Police released a photo on social media showing a blue pickup truck that was driving on the Promenade, which is restricted for motor vehicles.  The vehicle was safely removed by patrol officers. If you frequent the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza on the Garden State Parkway in Somers Point, better check your bills.  NJ.com reports that people who drove cars through the toll plaza were mistakenly charged a higher truck rate.  The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is investigating the problem, and intends to fix it.
