New Jersey Governor Signs Massive Budget, Totals $50.6 Billion

New Jersey has its largest budget in State history.  Governor Phil Murphy signed the new $50.6 billion budget into law Thursday.  The budget includes $6 billion in surplus that will be reserved for future use, if needed. Talks Continue, Strike Possible Friday at Some Atlantic City Casinos

Talks will continue today between both sides in an attempt to avoid a labor strike in Atlantic City.  Local 54 of Unite Here may walk from four gaming halls at midnight unless a new contract agreement is reached.  Higher wages is the primary issue.
