STATE MAY ALLOW HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAMS TO PLAY 14 GAMES

The high school football season is about to get very long for very good teams.  The NJSIAA announced Wednesday that teams could play up to 14 games in a season, if they reach the State title game.  Teams will also not be able to agree with opponents to drop scheduled games and not play them.

COUNTY ANNOUNCES RABIES BAITING PROGRAM

The annual rabies baiting program is underway in Cape May County.  The Department of Health and Mosquito Commission will distribute 32,000 baits through the mainland communities of the County.  They will be distributed by helicopter, and by land.
