Former Wildwood Mayor Gary DeMarzo is the new administrator in Upper Township, replacing Scott Morgan. The Township Committee approved the change during a 4-1 vote Monday night. Morgan was Upper’s first and only administrator, and held the job for five years.
Ocean City officials are dead set against a plan to bury cables underground in their city designed to bring wind power onshore. NJ.com reports that the firm developing the wind farm is attempting to secure easements to put the cables underground property that is owned by the city.
