The liquor license at the Rio Station in Rio Grande may undergo a person to person transfer Monday night. The Middle Township Committee has an item on its agenda that will transfer the license to TSP Rio, LLC. The introduction of the Township budget by title only is expected to take place.
The year end occupancy tax numbers in Cape May County showed that the 2021 occupancy tax generated locally was higher than both 2019 and 2020. The Cape May County Health Department is offering additional Covid-19 booster shots. The County announced that there will be weekly mobile vaccination clinics throughout April, along with clinics to be held at the Department of Health Office. Those clinics will be held April 6th, and April 11th.
North Wildwood Police have announced the appointments of two chaplains to the department. Reverend Deborah Moore and Father R. Nicholas Rafael II have been named chaplains. The appointments will become official at the April 5th Council meeting.
Wildwood Crest will continue its efforts to improve access to the public beaches later this month. Crest officials announced Friday that five additional street end access points will be improved, starting on April 11th. They are located at Jefferson, Washington, Pittsburgh, Preston, and Denver avenues.
