There will be no increase in County taxes this year. The Cape May County Commissioners introduced a new budget totaling just over $200 million that does not increase the tax rate nor increase the number of County employees. The tax levy to support the budget is nearly $150 million.

County officials will begin their 2022 road paving program next week. The County announced that portions of Court House/South Dennis Road, Avalon Boulevard, and Stone Harbor Boulevard will all be repaved. The work continues in other locations in the County through March.
The Wildwood City Commission meets Wednesday afternoon and is expected to renew a five-year tax exemption program. City leaders may also consider a new ordinance that would regulate bicycle hours on the city’s boardwalk. Wednesday’s meeting starts at 5pm.
