New Jersey’s latest daily coronavirus report shows only 938 cases of the virus added on Sunday. The state’s seven day average is down nearly 90 percent from one month ago. The rate of transmission has dropped to 0.63 percent.
The West Cape May Borough Commission meets Wednesday and is expected to introduce its 2022 municipal budget. Also on the agenda is the introduction of a new ordinance that would create an occupation tax on certain properties in the Borough. Water and sewer rates will also be established at the meeting.

Funeral services will be held next Saturday for former Ocean City councilman Roy Wagner who passed away at the age of 94. Wagner died February 15th at a local nursing home. Wagner served on various committees while a member of city council.
