20 year old Divine Jones of Wildwood has been charged with committing a sexual assault against a minor. City police say the man has been connected to the assault, and has been charged with multiple crimes. Jones works as a cook at a local restaurant. He has been incarcerated at the Cape May County Jail.
Two Capybara pups have been born at the Cape May County Zoo. County officials announced that the pups were born on February 3rd and will remain indoors with their parents until warmer spring weather arrives. The Capybara is the world’s largest living rodent.

County officials announced that the main branch of the County Library will be closed on Tuesday. The County says emergency repairs are needed to the building and other branches will be open on Tuesday. The main branch is expected to open on Wednesday.
Former Wildwood High School football coach and athletic director Tom Oves has died at the age of 87. Oves taught physical education and drivers education at the school until 1986. he was also a champion athlete at Ocean City High School. Funeral services for Oves will be held Thursday.
