COUNTY ANNOUNCES SENIOR CENTER, FARE FREE CLOSED MONDAY

There are lingering effects from the storm on Monday.  County officials announced that both Fare Free Transportation and the four County senior centers will all be shut down on Monday.  There’s a chance the Zoo could be closed again too.

STATE POLICE SEARCHING FOR 23 YEAR OLD MAN FROM BRIDGETON

New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help with locating 23 year old Jonathan J. Morris from Bridgeton.  He was last seen early Friday morning in Bridgeton City.  He is a black male standing 6’6″ tall and weighing 220 pounds.

HOW MUCH SNOW DID WE GET? ABOUT A FOOT

Just how much snow did our region get during the weekend storm?  A little over a foot in most areas.  The National Weather Service reports that the Dennis Township area experienced about 14 inches of snow, while the bayfront in Lower Township received 13 inches.  The greater Atlantic City area got 16 inches of snowfall.

OCEAN CITY WILL NOT SHARE ITS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER WITH SEA ISLE

Ocean City officials vote late last week against a plan that would have temporarily shared its Chief Financial Officer with Sea Isle City.  Sea Isle was exploring this option due to the retirement of its CFO, Paula Doll.  Ocean City’s Council nixed the idea on a 5-2 vote.
