Shots were fired in Bridgeton on Friday, and the bullets went into a home where three children were sleeping. Police say the shooting took place on Ewing Street and fortunately there were no injuries. Police are hopeful someone in the community provides them with information that leads to an arrest.
Congressman Jeff Van Drew has applauded a letter sent by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in behalf of the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic County. Van Drew has been pushing hard against a proposed reorganization of the Center by the Federal Aviation Administration. The letter urges no adverse impacts on the Center.
New Jersey reported just over 4,300 new coronavirus cases on Monday, again showing signs that the pandemic is slowing in the Garden State. State officials report 24 new deaths. This is the lowest one day caseload of the virus so far in 2022.
