PHILADELPHIA EAGLES HEAD COACH NICK SIRIANNI TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

The day after his team recorded a rare Tuesday night victory over a division rival, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has coronavirus.  The Eagles announced Tuesday that Sirianni developed symptoms and is coaching the team remotely.  The Eagles are hopeful he will be able to coach in their next game.

STATE REPORTS HIGHEST ONE DAY TOTAL OF COVID-19 CASES SINCE PANDEMIC BEGAN

BAN ON WATER, SEWER SHUTOFFS EXTENDED BY STATE UNTIL MARCH 15TH

Due to the extent of the current pandemic, the state will not authorize the shut off water and sewer service for lack of payment as of the end of this month.  Governor Murphy signed a new bill into law that now extends the moratorium on shutoffs until March 15th.  All lawmakers endorsed this new deadline.

CAPE MAY COUNTY RECORDS 101 NEW CASES OF VIRUS IN 24 HOURS

Cape May County recorded 101 additional cases of coronavirus over the past 24 hours.  The County’s new cumulative total is a record 843.  Approximately 500 of the cases are in the County’s population centers of Lower, Middle, and Upper townships.  New cases were reported in the last day in 13 of the County’s 16 municipalities.

HOOPS: MIDDLE, WILDWOOD EARN BIG WINS BEFORE CHRISTMAS
