EGG HARBOR CITY MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH 2020 FATAL ACCIDENT

An Egg Harbor City man has been formally charged this week in connection with an accident that killed another man in Port Republic last year.  The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Steven Hanlon has been charged with vehicular homicide.  A 63 year old man who was on a motorcycle was killed in the accident.

THREE CHARGED IN WILDWOOD IN CONNECTION TO RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Wildwood Police announced charges have been filed against three individuals connected to a residential burglary Sunday night on East Garfield Avenue.  Police say Giovanni Alicia-Ocasio, Kevin Vega, and Marangeli Medina have all been charged in connection with the crime.  Medina is still at large.  Police say the three were spotted on a security camera. REPORT: SWEENEY TO RUN FOR GOVERNOR IN NEW JERSEY IN 2025

Outgoing Senate President Steve Sweeney says he will run for governor in four years.  Sweeney was ousted by a little known republican in his district last month in an election surprise that grabbed national headlines.  NJ.com reports that Sweeney made the statement about running in four years to a trade group in Atlantic City.

REPORT: TWO MEN FOUND DEAD IN MILLVILLE GARAGE, CAR WAS RUNNING

Two men were found dead inside a garage in Millville with the engine of a car running.  NJ.com reports that police are investigating the discovery of the men that occurred in the 2000 block of Wheaton Avenue.  The report says the ages of the men were 50 and 18, and the car was discovered running…

TWO BRIEF, PLANNED POWER OUTAGES COMING TO OCEAN CITY WEDNESDAY

There will be two brief, planned power outages in Ocean City on Wednesday.  City officials say the outages will last about 15 minutes apiece and will start at 7:30am, and 7:45am respectively.  The outages are needed in certain parts of the city for maintenance of electrical systems and will impact approximately 3,000 customers.

LAWMAKERS COULD ELIMINATE TOLL HIKES ON LOCAL HIGHWAYS
