A 45 year old Galloway Township woman has been charged with five counts of animal cruelty after she allegedly left five dogs unattended in the woods for days. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Jodi Wozniak left the dogs alone on North Pitney Road in Galloway. The incident occurred in September.
Numbers alone paint a bleak picture for New Jersey regarding coronavirus. State officials announced Friday that 3,996 new cases of the virus were reported over the past 24 hours. That’s the highest one day total since April. There are over 1,000 people hospitalized with the virus.
The number of coronavirus cases continues to climb rapidly in Cape May County. The County reported 67 new cases of coronavirus over the past 24 hours. Cape May County now has 417 residential cases of the virus. Lower Township has 108 cases, Middle Township, 94, and Ocean City, 53.
Pleasantville Police are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted a girl while she was on her way to school Thursday morning. NJ.com reports that the incident took place in a wooded area. The girl was treated for injuries at a local hospital; the suspect remains at large.
