Police in Absecon are investigating a report of shots fired in the area of South Shore Road and Dr. Ruppert Drive. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 1:30am and found evidence that shots were in fact fired. The incident remains under active investigation; as of now, there are no injuries to report.

29 year old Brandon Dennis of Vineland was arrested Friday and charged in connection with a fatal shooting last month that claimed the life of a Millville man. The shooting claimed the life of Patrick Trotter. Trotter and Dennis were involved in an argument before the shooting.
