Cape May Police have made a positive identification and contact of a man who was wanted for taking upskirt photos in an arcade last month. Police say a Philadelphia television report helped police identify the suspect. Police had previously released photos of the man on social media.
A 58 year old man from Warrington, PA was arrested by Cape May Police after he approached women on the beach while wearing nothing but his birthday suit. Police say David B. Bausback was charged with lewdness after police received reports of the man approaching women on the Baltimore Avenue beach Monday.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Chiattarelli is gaining ground on democrat Phil Murphy. A new Stockton University Poll shows Ciattarelli with a nine point disadvantage to Murphy, who is the incumbent. Nine percent of voters are undecided or don’t like either candidate.
The number of coronavirus cases in Cape May County has fallen sharply. The latest figures released by the County Wednesday show 380 resident cases of the virus. No community has 100 or more cases. Six of the 16 communities are reporting cases in the single digits.
