Wildwood Police have charged a 28 year old mother of three children with child endangerment after she overdosed on narcotics. Police say Lisa Jane Griner was charged after police were asked to conduct a welfare check. Griner was also hit with various drug offenses. Her three children have been placed in state custody.
A 66 year old man from Middle Township is the latest casualty from coronavirus. County health officials announced 35 new positive tests on Thursday. The County has now surpassed 7,000 Covid-19 cases during the pandemic.
New Jersey State Senator Mike Testa has sponsored a bill that would put all of the state’s hotel and motel occupancy taxes towards tourism promotion, arts, and history. That fund generated $112 million in 2019. This would increase the funding to travel and tourism to nearly 32 percent of the overall allocation.

Gasoline prices in Cape May County are now $2.91 per gallon. Mid Atlantic AAA reports that represents a nine cent increase from just one week ago. Today, our area’s gas prices are the highest in the State and a nickle higher than the state average.
