NEW JERSEY ADDS OVER 5,000 NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS ON SUNDAY
New Jersey added 5,184 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. State officials say there were 21 new confirmed deaths. New Jersey has experienced 432,000 cases during the pandemic.

LOWER TOWNSHIP TO APPOINT NEW CHIEF OF POLICE AT MONDAY’S MEETING
The Lower Township Council meets Monday meeting and may appoint a new Chief of Police following a closed session. A resolution appears on the public agenda that would appoint a new Chief as of January 1st, 2021. Current Chief William Mastriana is expected to retire at the end of the month.
CAPE MAY MAN LATEST TO PASS AWAY FROM COROANVIRUS
A 64 year old man from Cape May is the latest fatality from coronavirus in Cape May County. County officials reported 34 new cases of the virus on Saturday. The Cape now has over 3,100 Covid cases off quarantine.
GOOD NEWS: COVID HOSPITALIZATIONS DOWN. BAD NEWS: OVER 4,200 NEW CASES
New Jersey reported a drop on Saturday of the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus. There were 3,570 people in the hospital with the virus. State officials reported 4,240 new cases of the virus, along with 49 additional deaths.
