Kevin Lare could be named next week as Acting Administrator for Cape May County. The County posted its agenda for next Tuesday’s freeholder meeting and Lare’s appointment appears first on the agenda. Lare currently appears on the County’s website as Chief Financial Officer.
The United States Coast Guard has suspended its search for a missing boater near Cape May. The Coast Guard announced Friday afternoon that the search for the individual who was missing at sea has ended. A 32-foot boat capsized Thursday afternoon with one person rescued by a good Samaritin while another person remained missing.
