The Wildwood Crest Commission announced that its meeting on October 21st is being moved to Crest Pier. The reason? There will be a presentation on plans for the old library building located on Ocean Avenue. The meeting attendance will be capped at 150.
Atlantic City’s casinos experienced a 6.5 percent increase in gaming revenue last month compared to the same month one year ago. The Division of Gaming Enforcement announced that the big push came from internet gaming, which earned the casinos nearly $90 million in September.
The State of New Jersey is making over $11 million available to businesses who rely on the fishing industry. The grants are available to businesses that experienced more than a 35 percent loss in business during the coronavirus pandemic. The funding has come from the CARES Act.

New Jersey will soon add an extra $300 to the unemployment benefits in the state. Governor Murphy announced Thursday that more than 800,000 people in the Garden State will see that payment early next week. Most recipients will not have to take any extra steps to get the money.
