Cape May County reported only three new coronavirus cases on Tuesday. The new cases were in Lower Township, Ocean City, and Wildwood Crest. The number of community cases is down to 68, and there are only nine non-resident cases.
The Philadelphia Eagles are allowing fans back at Lincoln Financial Field. A total of 7,500 people will be allowed at the field starting this Sunday, and that figure includes coaches, players, and other support staff. The Eagles have one victory in five games this season, and have one tie.
The five freeholder candidates will debate during an online format on Wednesday. The League of Women Voters of Cape May County is sponsoring the debate featuring two incumbent republicans, two democrats, and an independent. The event will begin at 7:00pm at Congress Hall in Cape May and last about 90 minutes.
The high school winter sports landscape will look much different this year. The New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association announced that winter sports teams will play only 15 games this season, and as of now, no spectators will be allowed as capacity limits will be enforced. The playoffs will also start in early February.

Atlantic County authorities say 27 year old Jaheel Ryan of Willingboro has been charged with robbery following a fight in Atlantic City that led to the fatal stabbing of a 25 year old man. The incident took place at Pennsylvania and Pacific avenues late Saturday night.
Governor Phil Murphy has signed a new executive order that clears the way for indoor sports to have practices, and play games. The order includes sports like basketball, group dance, wrestling, and hockey. Attendance will still be limited to 25 percent of a room’s capacity, or 25 people, whichever number is lower.
Former Sea Isle City Commissioner Steve Libro has passed away at the age of 80. Libro served four years on the City Commission, and also assisted Sea Isle City on its Tourism Commission and Chamber of Commerce. Libro founded the Sea Isle City Recreation Department.
