A 37 year old Atlantic City man ran a stop sign and collided with a police cruiser Tuesday morning. Police say Myron Brown of Atlantic City was charged following the incident. The police car spun and hit two vehicles before coming to a rest. Officer Ryan Mullin was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Thursday will be the day when gasoline prices go up considerably in New Jersey. The state will implement a new 9.3 cent increase in the gas tax on Thursday. This means over 50 cents per gallon will be dedicated to paying New Jersey taxes that fund various infrastructure projects, including road and bridge work.

The official voting drop box for Wildwood has been installed. Wildwood officials say the new drop box for the 2020 election ballots is located on the Davis Avenue side of Wildwood City Hall. The County is installing these drop boxes throughout the County so mail-in ballots can be safely deposited.
A structure fire was reportedly in the pre-dawn hours Monday on Fire Lane in Lower Township. Township Police say there was smoke coming from the interior of 3 Fire Lane upon arrival. The fire was extinguished, and all of the occupants of the home were able to escape unharmed. The cause has been ruled accidental.

A 30 year old New York man tried to climb over a divider at the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City Monday morning, and fell to his death. The man fell around 4:00am Monday at the casino when he dropped from the second level to the lobby. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
