TWO STABBED ON JERSEY SHORE BEACH ON LABOR DAY

Two people were stabbed on Point Pleasant Beach in Ocean County on Labor Day.  Officials say two men were found on the beach with stab wounds and were taken to a local hospital.  No other information has been released.

CAPE MAY COUNTY REPORTS TEN ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY CASES OF COVID-19

Cape May County has reported ten additional cases of coronavirus on Monday.  Three cases were reported each in Dennis Township and Ocean City.  There were zero additional cases of non-residents.  Cape May County has 99 cases of coronavirus.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP POLICE REPORT RASH OF CAR BURGLARIES

Hamilton Township Police are reporting a rash of car burglaries in the community.  Police issued some tips for people to avoid being robbed, including locking your vehicles and not leaving valuables in plain view.  Suspicious activity should be reported immediately to police.

WOMAN HOSPITALIZED AFTER BEING PULLED FROM THE SURF IN NORTH WILDWOOD

A 53 year old Philadelphia woman was hospitalized after being pulled from the surf in North Wildwood Sunday evening.  She was among four family members who were all taken out of the surf near 12th Avenue Sunday around 7:30pm, well after lifeguards had gone off duty.  The woman was hospitalized at Cape Regional Medical Center.

CORONAVIRUS RATE OF TRANSMISSION CONTINUES TO GO UP IN NEW JERSEY

VETERAN BRIDGETON POLICE OFFICER DIES AFTER CHASING AFTER SUSPECT

A tragic weekend for the Bridgeton Police Department.  49 year old officer Sean Peek of Millville died after he jumped into the Cohansey River to help rescue a suspect who went into the water after a chase.  Peek was a 15 year veteran of the department.  An autopsy will be performed to determine his cause…
