REPORT: RUTGERS TO NAME FIRST EVER BLACK PRESIDENT TUESDAY

Rutgers University will name its first ever black president on Tuesday.  NJ Advance Media reports that the provost of Northwestern University, Jonathan Holloway, will get the job.  A meeting of the university’s Board of Governors will be held Tuesday morning to make the appointment.

VAN DREW SAYS REQUESTS FOR TIX FOR TRUMP RALLY BIGGEST EVER

Congressman Jeff Van Drew says 100,000 tickets have been requested for the rally with President Trump in Wildwood later this month, and that’s the highest demand in Trump rally history.  Van Drew appeared on weekend network news programming and said Trump is coming to support Van Drew’s re-election, and Trump’s own issues.

PHILADELPHIA MAN DIES IN VINELAND INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT

A 28 year old Philadelphia man lost his life over the weekend at the Safeway Storage facility in Vineland.  Police say Felipe Rodriguez-Tzon was working in a refrigerated area of the facility where he was pronounced dead.  An investigation continues.
