A couple of girls’ basketball teams from our region picked up victories to begin play Friday morning at the Boardwalk Basketball Classic in Wildwood. Cape May Tech defeated Camden County Tech, 33-24, while Millville upended Cumberland Regional, 35-31. Wildwood and Wildwood Catholic boys’ teams are in action Friday evening in separate games.
