Gasoline prices in Cape May County increased by three cents a gallon over the previous week where prices dropped by a nickel. The average price for a gallon of gasoline is now $2.50 in our county, and five cents higher statewide. Trenton has the highest gas prices in the state.
New Jersey has become the first state in the nation to provide real time traffic alerts to people who have Alexa and Google Assistant devices. The New Jersey Department of Transportation says all of the information will be provided by the 511NJ traffic assistance network already established in the State.
Woodbine will hold its municipal reorganization meeting on January 2nd. Woodbine will swear in two incumbent member of council, Eduardo Ortiz and Mary Helen Perez. The mayor will also deliver his State of the Borough address.
The annual reorganization meeting of the Middle Township Committee will be held on Monday, January 6th. James Norris will be sworn in to office, filling the seat of democrat Michael Clark who attended his final Township Committee meeting this month. Middle will have a 3-0 republican majority.
