The State Police Explorer Program will be adding a meeting location in Upper Township. The program will begin meeting on December 4th at 7:00pm at the Upper Township Middle School. Applicants have to be between the ages of 14 and 20, and must have completed 8th grade.
Shots were exchanged between a man and a police officer in Tuckerton Thursday morning, and the search is on for the suspect. The suspect fled the area on a tricycle, and it was recovered a half mile from the scene of the shooting. Local schools went into lockdown; there were no injuries.
