The field hockey team clinched its first CAL National Conference championship by beating Cedar Creek, and the cross country team won a division title on Saturday at the South Jersey Open. A young girl was injured Saturday when she fell off a ride at the Deerfield Township Harvest Festival. Authorities say she fell off a ride called the “Extreme” Saturday evening and was airlifted to a hospital. Some families lobbied for the fair to be shut down after the accident.
