The Middle Township Committee will hold its next meeting at the Rio Grande Fire Hall on Route 47. The Township announced the venue change for the meeting with the work session being held next Monday at 4pm, and the regular meeting at 6pm.
Four underage teenagers were arrested in Atlantic City following a traffic stop. City police say the teens had a gun, cocaine, and marijuana in their possession. Two of the teens were 14 years old, two were 16. They attempted to flee police in their vehicle.
A 36 year old Millville man lost his life in a motor vehicle accident Saturday in Vineland. Vineland Polices say Brandon Girton-Mastrosimone was killed when he drove into a concrete barrier on North West Avenue. The road was closed at the time of the accident.
North Wildwood has received a $35,000 grant from the New Jersey Department of Homeland Security. The city will use the funding for the purchase of 46 firefighter turnout gears. Training on the new gear will be provided for members.
