The casino industry is doing so well that the Borgata is making a $14 million investment in improvements. The Borgata told the Associated Press that it will spend the money on a huge makeover in its lobby, and 300 hotel rooms. All of the work should be completed by early 2020.

A 35 year old Millville man is headed to federal court on charges that he committed fraud against dozens of people on online dating sites. Rubbin Sarpong was arrested on Wednesday and charged with the crimes. He could face 20 years in prison, if convicted.
The top public schools in the entire United States are found right here in New Jersey. Education Week pushed New Jersey schools to to the top of the list largely because of the amount of money spent on education. 39 categories were counted in the nationwide study.
There could be some wet Harleys to begin bikers weekend in the Wildwoods this weekend. Tens of thousands of motorcycles are headed to the Five Mile Beach for the annual motorcycle event. Some wet weather may greet the bikers on Friday as Dorian continues to move north, and out to sea.
Hurricane Dorian is expected to be a Category 1 storm when it moves past New Jersey Friday afternoon into Saturday evening. The National Hurricane Center says our region could experience windy weather with some rain as the storm kicks out into the Atlantic Ocean. No advisories or warnings are issued for the Jersey Shore.

The body of a 15 year old New Jersey boy who drowned in the ocean after being caught in a rip current was recovered on Tuesday. The body of Joesiah Robison was recovered by authorities. Robison drowned after being caught in a rip current on Sunday. He attended Ewing High School.
